Carvalho’s journey into electronic music started early, influenced by a musical household. Growing up in Brazil, his grandmother's diverse music tastes and his cousins blasting minimal beats outside their house planted the seeds of his passion. By the time he reached his teens, Carvalho was consuming electronic music nonstop, dreaming of creating his own sound. However, it wasn’t until 2022 that he took the leap into production, learning from mentor Lucas Bahr. Guided by inspirations like Pawsa, Wheats, and Classmatic, Carvalho began crafting his signature style: a fusion of minimal, deep tech, and tech house that’s equal parts groove and grit.
Crafting the Perfect Groove
Carvalho’s creative process is dynamic, inspired by everything from vocal samples to instrumental loops. For him, respecting his creative flow is key—choosing to create only when inspiration strikes. His DJ sets are meticulously planned, with over 100 tracks sorted into folders to ensure the perfect vibe for every moment. “It’s not always about dropping bombs; it’s about building a journey,” Carvalho explains. By blending experimentation with his core style, he’s cultivated a sound that captivates dance floors everywhere.
Brazilian Roots, Global Sound
Although Carvalho’s tracks may not always include direct cultural elements from his Brazilian heritage, his upbringing influences his approach to music. Whether it’s samba, rap, funk, or rock, Brazilian music provides him moments of reflection and inspiration. His playlists are a testament to the diverse range of sounds that inspire him, featuring artists like Ragie Ban, Nocapz, Roddy Lima, and SLAMM. These influences have shaped Carvalho into a producer who values individuality and storytelling in his music.
A Milestone in Performance and Production
One of Carvalho’s most cherished memories is his performance at Escobaile. As a party he once attended as a fan, stepping onto its stage was a full-circle moment. “The energy on that dancefloor was unmatched. Being part of that lineup meant everything to me,” he recalls.
On the production side, his track “Dangerous” holds a special place. Originally conceived as a solo project titled "Bad Girl," it gained new life through a collaboration with Ragie Ban. After months of hesitation about releasing it, a chance meeting with Ragie in São Paulo led to a phone call where Ragie pushed him to share the track. Together, they refined it, resulting in a hit that resonates across dance floors today.
What’s Next for Carvalho
Carvalho shows no signs of slowing down. With upcoming releases like “Maslow” in collaboration with Crewcutz by Muse and “2000,” an edit by Mood Child, he’s poised to keep audiences hooked. Beyond 2025, Carvalho envisions sharing his music globally and continuing to refine his craft. “I’m always studying and improving so I can bring better things to make it happen,” he says.
Dream collaborations are also on his horizon, with Wheats sitting at the top of his wishlist. “His production style has always been a huge inspiration to me,” Carvalho shares.
The Rise of Brazilian Electronic Music
Carvalho views the evolution of Brazilian electronic music as a testament to the passion and dedication of its producers. Once an underdog on the global stage, the Brazilian scene is now a powerhouse, thanks to trailblazers who opened doors for a new generation. “This is just the beginning of a much stronger movement,” he notes.
Beyond the Decks
When he’s not producing or performing, Carvalho finds balance in video games, traveling with friends, and unwinding outside the studio. These activities give him the mental clarity he needs to return to music with fresh inspiration.
For aspiring producers and DJs, Carvalho offers a message of perseverance: “Don’t give up just because it feels difficult at first. Produce what you love, stay patient, and trust your journey. Everyone evolves at their own pace.”
Carvalho’s story is one of passion, resilience, and a deep commitment to the art of music. As he continues to rise, his unique sound and perspective are sure to leave a lasting impact on the global electronic music scene.
