G. Segurola is a Miami-born DJ and producer whose journey began with a $250 Numark controller and a determination to fill a void in his circle. What started as open-format sets at birthday parties and small gigs quickly evolved during the pandemic, where hours of practice turned into a sharpened ability to mix and read a room. By 17, his discovery of Michael Bibi, PAWSA, and Dennis Cruz pulled him deeper into the underground sound, and a life-changing 16-hour night at Space cemented his drive to pursue house music seriously. From private events to his first club gigs at La Rouge, Segurola learned through trial, error, and persistence — building the grit that still defines his artistry today.

In college, he earned a residency at Tallahassee’s Ten Lounge, shaping his sound while contrasting Miami’s scene with new influences. Returning home, he dove into production, teaching himself Ableton and slowly carving out a style rooted in Solid Grooves-inspired energy and vinyl-driven minimal house. Now with about 150 handpicked records, he’s brought his craft full circle, recently delivering his first pure vinyl mix for The Groove Palace. More than just the music, Segurola carries a perspective anchored in gratitude, reminding himself — and others — to focus less on the chase for validation and more on the passion that fuels it. His TGP039 mix is both a milestone and a statement: a young artist building intentionally, with patience, persistence, and a love for the journey.
